Success in school
We run alongside the LAUSD calendar (August - June) with a Tues-Thurs after-school schedule serving students grades 1st and up. We also offer a Summer Bridge/Remedial Study Program for all grades.
Success in life
We’re committed to serving the development of students' academic, spiritual, creative, physical and emotional potential. Your involvement in The Learning ZONE has the potential to change the trajectory of the lives of the future leaders of your community.
Volunteer driven
Volunteers provide mentoring that includes excellent tutoring and much-needed homework assistance as well as enrichment programs in reading, writing, math and computer skills. We also offer Biblically-based citizenship and hands-on cooking, nutrition and exercise enrichment.
Family partnerships
We serve the Grand View Elementary / Mark Twain Middle School / Venice High School boundary district of LAUSD. Most of The Learning ZONE kids need extra, focused assistance in reading, writing and math. On occasion, we provide field trips, family events and special gatherings as we desire to partner with families for empowerment.
