Mission

The mission of the Learning ZONE is to mentor each child mentally, spiritually, socially, physically and creatively. Our mission is intentionally broader than a tutoring program. We seek to create a true community in which we partner with parents to meet academic, social, spiritual and emotional needs with the primary goal of seeing each child succeed in both school and life, with a strong foundation in both academic competency and inner character.

Three days a week volunteers provide the following:

• Academic mentorship, tutoring and diverse enrichment

• Cultivation of character rooted in Biblical values

• Hands-on cooking, nutrition and exercise enrichment
